    Question about autometer electric gauge install

    I can't remeber the color off hand, but I also have the adapter harness between my deck and factory wiring and I used the dimmer power wire in the fatory harness to power my gauge lights. That way the gauges dim with the other dash lights when I roll the dimmer switch back.

    I just bought my old GT back. It now has a Trickflow intake wich I believe has a 70mm opening and a stock 65mm throttle body. Am I really losing that much power with the stock throttle body?

    Also Mustang Parts & Accessories - 50resto sells a different shaped chrome shift handle to install on the stock shifter if you are just wanting to change the look. I have no expereince with that product though.

    I also used the wrench on wrench method to gain leverage when I installed my aluminum d/s. I had an AOD and no fluid leaked when I pulled the old d/s.

    I think that would be a cool base model. If they could do a lightened model with a turbo 4 that gets 32-33 MPG or better I would be all over it.
