    66 Mustang Combo Options

Hey guys I currently have a 1990 vert with a t-5 that I love but I recently got a lead on a 1966 stang that is in the family that is up for sale and I have always wanted an older classic stang. I know the car has been well taken care of and was resorted back in 1989. The car originally had a...

F%$k Chip Out of New Rims

Thanks for the replies. I will try thoes two places. I guess road rash is part of the game just like chips and dings but it does bother me. I was not so bad on the old turbine rims but I just hate having chrome rims with a chip out of them. :(

F%$k Chip Out of New Rims

I got them from OE Wheel Distributors in Flordia, good deal by the way I would recomend them to anyone. The rim would just need some light sanding and some touch up on the chrome and that is it, The rim is not even bent, there is just a small chip out of it. I will take a look for that...

F%$k Chip Out of New Rims

I know replating chrome costs a fortune so it might be just as easy to get a new rim. It just seems like such a small chip to bother getting a whole new rim.

F%$k Chip Out of New Rims

I just bought my new chrome cobra R rims this winter and tonight I cut a curb too short thinking it was wider and I took a small chip out of the edge of the rim. To be honest I didn't even know I hit the rim except my friend noticed and pointed it out to me. I guess accidents happen but I just...

    Anyone here from Halifax Area

No I have never had mine to the track. Not to many performance mods, just about bone stock under the hood. This winter I plan on getting some new springs and a set of rear end gears.

    Convertible Top Molding

Hey guys just this past weekend when I was putting my top cover on the molding for the convertible top rearwell came up and broke away. I would assume this is because the plastic was old. I found the part I need at 5.0 resto but I am not sure which one to order...

    New 66 Advice

I was thinking the 351W 385HP GT 40 crate engine from Ford Racing, but I am open to ideas. Do you think a heavy duty t-5 would handle the power? If not what would you suggest? I realize that this would be an expensive project but after I am done and run it for a few years what do you think I...

    New 66 Advice

I just recently bought a house that has a garage so I am looking to sell my daily driver fox 1990 mustang and looking to purchase a 66 stang for a resto mod project. I am thinking of a 66 hard top (non numbers matching) Adding a 351W and a t-5 or t-6 (possibly crate engine) Disk Brakes...

    Clockspring Troubles

Here is a picture of one from a 1992 mustang. It connects the horn, cruise and air bag to the rest of the car. Problem is ford no longer stocks the plate that goes behind this part that it screws into in Canada. So I have had to go the junkyard route.

    Clockspring Troubles

Does anyone know if there is an easy way to test the clockspring before I bother taking my car apart to put it in? I am praying that this is a working clockspring and plate but I want to make sure since I need it to pass inspection this spring. Thanks.

    Clockspring Troubles

Thanks, I know it has been quite a quest to say the least. I almost feel like buying a bunch of them up in case this one goes. I am getting the whole column intact and all I need is the clockspring. Hopefully when I pull the car out this spring with the new clockspring the horn and cruise...

    Clockspring Troubles

Hey guys, I posted a while back that I was looking for a clockspring. I finally tracked one down at a local junkyard since ford no longer supplies the part for a 1990 stang. The air bag has not gone off so the clockspring should be good in the used column, my only issue is that the column was...

    Adjustable Clutch Cable

Last year I got the FMS quadrant and adjustable cable. I have not put very many miles on it but so far it has worked great. Much better than that stock piece of sh#t. I was told that the cables used to be made in Mexico and that the used to break due to the lower grade iron/steel braids used...
