    Engine Deleting Egr Valve On 5.0

    i was taking my intake off yesterday and the egr tube snapped inside the egr valve, so i dont have any choice really but delete it (im not buying a new one). i just cant figure out a good place to buy a cap for the header

    Anyone know where to get that cap elsewhere? hardware store? what would you ask for? also i heard if you take the original nut and put a penny in it and tighten it back onto the header it will seal just fine?

    I cant remeber if i need to reset the timing when i pull out the distributer while the car is off or if its ok to just put it back it where it came out at? i didnt mark anything btw.. If so then how do i set the timing? kinda pathetic that im a mechanic and have never set timing on a car before...

    the rental thing isnt true, mine wasnt a rental...But i do have the red interior, there were two different kinds of seat material, there was the fuzzy **** and the hemp type stuff, i have the hemp type stuff and kinda like it, but i would pass it up for black leather anyday...btw it looks way...
