    to my knowledge you can keep the same gearing ratio you have.. i believe you can use any ratio you want, seeing as these lokers dont interact directly with the pinion gear. personally i am gunna go with either 3.50 or 3.55 gearing... oh also i believe that trac lok on ebay wont work for 8"s...

    I was talkin to a friend about where to get a good posi for the 8" in my 1966 and he told me that i coud get the spyder gears in my open diff welded together to make a locker.. i was wondering if anyone out there reccomends this, it seems way to simple of a solution for there to be no drawbacks...

    ive checked the firewall connectors on both sides and they are in working order for sure... ya i was thinking it might be a ground but how do you ground the turn signal switch? oh and i unplugged my stereo from my fuse box and now my dash lights are working. but the stereo itself doesnt work...

    Leaks!

    ok with the first rain i realized why my old floorpan had rusted out... my car leaks water in through the vent below the windshield, into the air vent and onto my floorpan! any suggestions on how to fix this?? much apprieciated!

    sorry, ya it wont even turn over. i can hear the stater turning slowly and my interior lights dim, but it wont crank hard enough to start it. but the car starts fine when its cold so i dunno where the problem lies

    It seems that whenever my engine is hot, my car wont start. I thought at first that something was sucking battery but its not the case cuz as long as i wait for the engine to cool, itll start. Could this be an ignition coil prob, or bad points or something? i really dunno..

    Im having a problem getting my 66 to start consistently. sometimes it fires up strong, other times i sit there and can listen to my starter slowly turn. i thought it was the connections so replaced those but it still does it.. my battery doesnt seem to be either holding a charge or isnt...

    Ive been running water in my radiator since ive been driving my car and ive heard that if i drain my radiator and use antifreeze it'll mess up my whole system. is this true cuz the water is not doin it for my engine lol
