94 with a SC and Vortech cooler on Speed TV

heads/intake/supporting mods does not equal stock longblock 500 figures are attainable no doubt with a few extra mods, but not with just a blower on the stock longblock

Trickflow Street Heat on a stock motor ?

Not to worry, 94-95 stangs got a fiberglass hood from the factory. I found out mine was fiberglass and had the same concerns that maybe it had been wrecked.. but then I inquired and it turns out the 94-95 hood is fiberglass.. what a relief :nice:

Disconnected my battery, now idle problems

I didnt do anything to the motor/maf or anything, thats why Im kind of stumped. Anyhow, it is getting better so Im guessing the computer just has to finish resetting itself. and yes, I did not forget to reconnect the battery ;) very funny, what would be a bypass motor problem?

94 with a SC and Vortech cooler on Speed TV

haha wow... this is funny, i was planning to start a thread on this after watching it pass time the other day. As soon as the guy said 500 hp on the "good ol' ford stock 302" I knew he was full of it.. a supercharged stock longblock would never net 500 rwhp.. and even if it did, that block would...

Disconnected my battery, now idle problems

So recently I had my battery disconnected, and now Im experiencing the car dying at red lights, and also idling unstable (revs drop then shoot up) Its been getting better day by day but still dies occasionally and just feels a bit rougher all around. Is this something the computer will fix on...

    On the bright side...I'm alive

my deepest respects.. good thing you walked away.. I know how it feels to hurt the car.. luckly for me the car got another lease on life (the insurance company actually gave the collision shop a rough time because the car ended up costing quite a bit over budget and should have been totalled...

    colder plugs

Thanks alot, this is a great explanation! The reason Im curious is because I was considering nitrous, and it is recommended to go a heat range or two colder than stock plugs. I was worried that doing so would negatively affect N/A driving.. and I will be driving my stang off the spray much more...

How old were you when you got your first stang?

I bought the 94 in the fall, a month after my 17th birthday. Before the stang I was driving an old 1986 hyundai, I sold it for $1000, I added my $4000 Id saved up, and my parents generously contributed $3000, $7900 later and I had a clean stang in the driveway :) Ill never sell it

AFR and Trickflows: Dyno graphs & street fun.. lets compare shall we?

All of the graphs, dyno info, and opinions posted here are good confirmation for me. Both are capable combos, with the edge going to the afr's. guess it is true to some respect, you get what you pay for ;) It was also interesting to see some of the numbers stroker combos are making with the 165s...

    Bad news and good news!!!

hey bud, I read your other thread awhile ago.. i feel your pain. My car was sideswiped before the holidays, and its a really awful and helpless feeling. Im sorry to hear the car will be written off, I disputed my claim very persistantly and my car is being fixed.. but it was absolute borderline...

    Trick Flow Kit install!

Do you feel any loss in low end torque compared to the stock hci? After driving it, would you consider this a worthwhile swap for the money, or is it just a little improvement over stock? Do you think this new power will keep you happy for quite awhile? Thanks for any comments, Im considering...

AFR and Trickflows: Dyno graphs & street fun.. lets compare shall we?

Well, that long and informative "thumper heads" thread got me interested in dyno graphs again, and how they relate to fun on the street. If anyone could kindly post the dyno graph to their AFR 165 combo or their trickflow street heat h/c/i, Id like to compare the two and look for some of the...

Explorer intake on a stock 5.0

Well, the reason I was thinkin exploder intake is because I can pick one up for just a little more than a tmoss porting on my stocker would cost. I was then planning to get a plate kit for the gt40, and I can re-use it when I get my h/c/i (If I decide on afr 165, ported cobra, fti) I could then...

Explorer intake on a stock 5.0

So Ive decided instead of pinching pennies on an inexpensive iron-headed combo now, I'll save up for a quality h/c/i and do it right once. In the mean time, I was thinking about a little nitrous shot to tie me over. So the question is, would an explorer upper/lower intake make much of a...
