    How to use 28oz stroker on 89 stang?

    I have been looking on ebay for a cheaper stoker kit and i see alot of them that say they will work with 5.0 roller blocks, but as i rread it it says that they are balence for 28ox imbalence. Is it as simple as using a different flywheel and dampner to change it voer to 28oz? thanks

    yea she hasnt even put 1000 miles on it yet, but it hasnt used any oil according to the dip stick since shes had it, but i will keep an eye on it. I figured just replaceing the heads will give me new valve seals anyway without the hassle of rebuilding the heads. Is replacing valve seals hard...

    yea i was thinking of trying some of that but i was told that it wouldnt work. Maybe i will try some of the cheap stuff. OIL TREATMENT. it smells like lucas and its the same consistancy. I put it in my cadi to make it run smoother till i get to those motor mounts :rlaugh:

    i was thinking about buying a set of rebuilt heads for the car rather than rebuilding the heads. I was wondering if the HO 305 heads will work. there is a fresh rebuilt set on ebay for 200 right now. Its not a rush tho because she dont have alot of money right now anyway.

    decided on mac shorties but which finish?

    I got the flowtech 1 5/8 shorties for the same reason u want em. For the money i paid i have to say that hey fit very well and other than the crappy black coating turning white from hea i havnt had a problem. My dipstick is messed up now tho. :shrug:

    thanks. Mustang5L5...i just purchased a 1-2 syncro slider from national drivtrain. i think it was $36 which was the cheapest i found. just thought id let you know.

    I got a set and noticed a decent different in how fast the car started and throttle response from the stock wires. i say :nice: to FMS 9mm wires. gotta go with ford blue too

    Gas tank/filler neck gasket

    I screwed around for hours trying to do it without dropping the tank and it would have been faster to just drop the tank from the beginning. CArfull putting it back in its easy to tear. just my $.02
