one dim head light, few ?'s

ok hissin50, just had my wife pull the flash-to-pass high beams with the lights on. When highs were pulled and held on, my pass headlight went out completely along with my corner ambers. The only light that stayed on was my blinker light.

    Teach Me Supercharger Basics

you need bigger injectors (running lean on fuel is never a good thing with any application) yes you can put a smaller pulley on for more boost if you don't want to replace the E cam, then run it..it will work again, there are intakes that might make more power, but the cobra is fine for now...

    Heads

yes they can be installed with decent results. It's a modest upgrade over stock e7's. You should change the springs with any cam change. The letter cams B and C are ok cams, but you are dealing with ancient technology....there are many other cam choices that would yield far better results. I...

    opinions on cobra brake kits

Good Lord that's craziness. Like 5L5 I put mine together years ago for under a grand....they're great breaks, but I would not spend 3k for those breaks, thinking about it, I wouldnt spend 2k for them

Going back to Drag set up fellas

I hear ya, I have never bent a wheel...I was just being agreeable lol And yes, options are limited with those cobra brakes...damned if you do, damned if you don't. THIS IS JUST MY OPINION SO I HOPE I DON"T PISS TOO MANY DUDES OFF BUT>>>>Back in the day I ran skinnies for years...love the...

Going back to Drag set up fellas

ok, I didn't know....I've been out of the skinny game for so many years but that helps...maybe a 185 or 195/something would be best for a 4" width. Pot holes and skinnies....pot hole wins! @MWOOD, thanks bro...it is set up to turn as of right now. I used to run the car at open track...

Going back to Drag set up fellas

I agree on the safety/ handling issues...I think I might go with a 4" width wheel up front so it handles/stops a bit better. I just don't know what size tire would look good on a 15x4" wheel up front? 205/50? Or am I wayyyy off?

Going back to Drag set up fellas

What's your guys opinion on the 17in front skinny with the 15in rear...I have seen a few combos that look decent but only on the net....I have never seen the combo in person...how does it look in your honest opinion?

Going back to Drag set up fellas

That's what Iam afraid of...I've heard some guys are putting spacers on the fronts to kick the wheels out a bit for more clearance...well forget about the 15x3 at this point....I'll re-phrase....the upfront skinnies have to clear cobra brakes...post em!

Going back to Drag set up fellas

I want a polished wheel that looks killer. No drag lites...that was my old set up. Looking for a 15x3 (that will clear 13" cobra brakes) and a 15x10 w/ 6.5 BS. Im looking to do a MT 275/50 OR 275/50/15 DR. I want the tire to have the "stuffed look" so I think I will be able to stuff a 50...

How well can a Fox Body handle?

Just contact MM and they will achieve your wants/goals with the car...whether its the entire road and track kit, or then piecing appropriate parts together for your needs. I personally think the entire road and track kit is over-kill for a strickly street application and many times that route...

Why are the tops of my struts going to hit the hood??

don't have a cam on me and I'm trying to figure this out as we speak...as soon as i lowered the car to the ground, the struts pushed through. I did remove the isolators from the springs this time but I don't think that would be a problem...has never been in the past.

Why are the tops of my struts going to hit the hood??

Throwing on some new KYB Gas-Adjust struts and everything was going as smooth as one could hope for and then I realized very quickly that the tops of my struts where the nut goes is sticking up a few inches too high to where It will hit my hood? What's going on here? Everything looks good to...
