    GRINDING NOISE FROM REAR!

    Had the same problem, couldnt narrow it down. Had the entie rear end replaced. It went away. But that was under warranty so didnt care about the cost. Maybe a wheel bearing / axle bearing?

    Sounds like a whistle?

    My car has like a whistle sound to it at all speeds.Gets higher in pitch at greater rpms.Thought it was a tensioner pulley, reaplced them both. A friend says it may be the brushes in the alternator? Does this sound right? Car runs great, no difference in performance.

    Tryinng to decide what fluid to put in the transmission( Royal purple? Redline?). Having similiar problems with shifts from first to second in cold weather as a lot of others. Oh, and do I have a transmission filter?
