    I just finished cleaning my MAF....after waiting forever....of course I reconnect the battery when finished....I then try to start and nothing! I got a few clicks...and now no response at all when I turn the key...? All electrical is working...radio,lights,locks, trunk... what do you all...

    convertible top rattle

    I agree, my vert is not quiet, even with all the suspension upgrades. Not that I have done it, but the latches actually have an adjustment to make the top close more solid (make sense?) If you look good at the inside of the latches you will see... Mine is rattling some from the molding above...

    I am gonna replace my U Joints. Should I get them from Ford or would a Napa or Autozone joint be equal in quality? I have searched, cant find any answers...

    I am not in tech school, but I dont think it is normal. I have aftermarket gears, which is reason for backlash. Unless a tranny can get worn and create some slop...I am leaning towards those U Joints. Is this an easy fix? I bet those bolts are a mofo to break loose.

    I know this is a strange topic, but I think this may be connected to the notorious "clunk" that alot of us experience. When I do this I can hear a clank from around the tranny, followed by a quieter clank towards the rear. I will look into the spider gear theory. Thanks for the help!
