    chin spoiler install question

    I took doublesided masking tape and taped the spoiler in place. I use 1/4 self taping screws and drilled where the holes are. My 14 year old daughter helped my and it took 20 minutes.

    When I was 16 I learned to drive a stick shift in a beautiful 4cyl 4speed Mustang II on a frozen lake in Minnesota. That was a long time ago and now I am in San Diego! I still remember that car. I had a friend that had a 1977 Cobra, white with red trim.

    Headlight questions

    1. My headlights are very cloudy/foggy I tried using some steel wool but it did not help. How can I clean them up? 2. I need to adjust the headlights, one points up higher than the other. It is missing a couple of the 'tits' used to adjust them

    Chugging with 4.10s

    Since I have my 4.10s installed, every now and then, in first gear the car chugs/surges a bit, kind of like a bucking bronco. To stop it I give it a bit more gas or shift into second. I put the 23 tooth speedo gear in until I can afford the Speed-cal, next month. Seems like the speedometer...

    Needle valve

    Disconnect the gas line from the carb, run the car until it dies. Sometimes as the car runs out of gas crap stuck in the needle and seat can become dislodged. Its worth a try. :rolleyes:

    What do 4.10 gears really do for performance?

    They make the car more fun to drive. Depending on what gear you have now, the 4.10 will have a different effect. I went from 2.73 to 4.10s big difference, now you may have 3.27 gears, will still make a big difference but not a dramatic. :spot:

    Speedo Calibration in a 96 with 4.10's??

    You can put in a 23 tooth gear however you will be off a few miles per hour, in addition because they have so many teeth they do not last that long. However if you only have 15 bucks it is a nice way to go until you get your speed cal.

    Never did my 98, but my 85 GT has a plastic plug that needs to be removed in the back seat, this plug gains access to the top of the shock bolt.
