    Yeah, I was definately short shifting, but I can't really tell you what RPM it was at. I have a 4 cylinder tach in my car so it reads 2x the rpms...basicly after 3k rpm it's useless. I'd have to say it was around 5000 rpm though.

    I didn't have my hood on because nobody was around at the time to help me put it on. And yeah, the car definately has traction problems, which is next on my list of things to fix so I can get it out of the 13's, lol. My car didn't really bottom out there, it just doesn't have much ground...

    Well, went out to a empty/deserted road today and had a little fun with the car out there. For some reason since I put my engine back in the car, I CANNOT hit 3rd gear when im driving the car hard...It's frustrating as hell. The only way it drops in to gear is if I let the engine idle down...

    Yeah...it usually does it faster, I just got it running and I think I may need to mess around with the TPS or something. It doesn't have the throttle response it did before. Should have it cleared up tomorrow I hope. It's a custom cam btw. AFR 205 cylinder heads and 11:1 compression...

    Yeah, the dog bone is bolted to the bottom of the diff. I think it weighs something like 8.5lbs and really does **** all.

    40 LBS??? I don't think the stock hood weighs 40lbs, let alone going to fiberglass saving you that much. Cervinis hoods aren't much lighter than stock. They have bracing on the under side out the arse, plus they are quite thick. Other brands are lighter however, but the fit isn't as good...

    This sounds alot like emulsified oil. Check your compression, it could be a blown head gasket.

    AFR and Trickflow Head Information

    Oh, my AFR 205 heads with the "nitrous porting" option flow approximately 20cfm more on the exhaust side from like .400-.700 lift. I can't remember the exact numbers, but AFR will give exact #'s on it if you call em. I had them written down somewhere, but lost em.

    I did a search on this and couldn't find much of anything about it, so I thought I would make a thread about it... I'm likely changing my Mustang to Megasquirt over the winter and I was STRONGLY considering changing the engine to EDIS, which would allow me to eliminate the distributor...
