Well, went out to a empty/deserted road today and had a little fun with the car out there. For some reason since I put my engine back in the car, I CANNOT hit 3rd gear when im driving the car hard...It's frustrating as hell. The only way it drops in to gear is if I let the engine idle down. On the last run there with the camera in car I double clutched it and it went in to 3rd fine that time (despite my poor double clutching technique).

Anyway, here's my little vid. More to come soon probly.

Looks like you have some slight traction issues?! Car looks good though i like the sleeper look (aside from that monster intake that will certainly not clear the stock hood)! Bottomed out a little bit there huh?

I didn't have my hood on because nobody was around at the time to help me put it on. And yeah, the car definately has traction problems, which is next on my list of things to fix so I can get it out of the 13's, lol.

My car didn't really bottom out there, it just doesn't have much ground clearance...MAYBE 2.5". My exhaust scrapes on **** all the time.

Damn seems to scoot...get it tuned, fix the 3rd gear, and put some slicks on it....Then your going to have to worry about ripping off the rear bumper..the exhaust will be the last thing on your mind...

what were you shifting at? it just sounds like you were shifting it early, I know you werent beating the piss out of it but just curious.

Yeah, I was definately short shifting, but I can't really tell you what RPM it was at. I have a 4 cylinder tach in my car so it reads 2x the rpms...basicly after 3k rpm it's useless. I'd have to say it was around 5000 rpm though.

sounds very nice, you can tell its trying to go fast but its just spinning, the in car shot you could tell it was pulling hard in 3rd and 4th

sounds great anyway, get some decent tires on there (and maybe something other than turbines just for the hell of it), and let us know how stupid fast it really is.

imo, it didnt seem to pull that well to me, when you hit 2nd it seems like it was struggling to spin, I dont know the situation but, my 86 would smoke them to third, literally smoke, and 3 sets of stipes, when I did that, with 2.73 gears....

looks cool as hell though!!!

It's "struggling" to spin in 2nd because I'm modulating the gas pedal hard core, lol.

I can blow them away at a 130km/h roll.
