Made a quick vid of my 408 coupe tonight

Well, I got my coupe back together after removing the engine to replace a buggered oil pump. Some of you may have seen the video of me pulling it out.

Anyway, I decided to make a vid of it idling/revving in the garage. I plan on making a higher quality video tomorrow with a good camera and a little more "action". This is it for now though!

Don't sound like it tachs up very fast. What cam you got in it?

Yeah...it usually does it faster, I just got it running and I think I may need to mess around with the TPS or something. It doesn't have the throttle response it did before. Should have it cleared up tomorrow I hope.

It's a custom cam btw. AFR 205 cylinder heads and 11:1 compression.

Oh, it's currently untuned (basicly just has what the guy who burned my chip guessed would be about right for my engine) and it's running 10 degrees base timing.

Sounded like the timming maybe a little off to me when you reved it. Just thought i would say something. But other than that.

Well I'll double check it tomorrow, but I had it set around 9 or 10 degrees. Might bump it up to 12 or 13.

tuning will make a world of difference, night/day type. My Z28 ran so much better after tuning from the cam swap that it was a HUGE difference.
