    thats my problem...i dont have the stock hood latch anymore. im going to put an electric fan in the opening soon so i will not have room for one. i was thinking about making a latch using bike cables running to the inside of the cab and it would release a latch under the hood(for security)...

    does anybody use locking hood pins? i have the regular pin w/ cable style but i want to lock it up some how. im wondering if because of the cowl hood i have, the hood is slanted slightly, if the locking style pins would still work and line up correctly?

    what i have is pretty close to a stock cam. maybe a lil higher but i dont think its much at all. i have a c4. how much are stall converters anyways?

    what size cam would you guys suggest i put into my 65 coupe 289. she is mildly built up.....030 over, 9.2:1 compression, flat top pistons, stock heads, comp cams roller(tips) rockers. the cam i have no is pretty small. i can get exact specs if need be. im looking for pretty good...

    specs for my 8" rearend

    does anybody know of or where i can find all the correct specs for my stock 8" in my 65 coupe 289? the biggest thing im looking for is width and what size i would need in a 9" when i get one. thanks guys

    im about 2 days away from painting the stripes on my 65 coupe. i need some opinons from everyone....ive decided to go with the super snake stripes (Center stripe is 10", outside stripes are 3" with 2" between stripes on the 67) but im not sure on what sizes i should go because i have the 65...

    primer/painting problems?...please help

    i got the spec sheet for my base coat and it says to use 6-8 psi with the HVLP gun(which is what we have) but the guy says like 50-60 recomended psi on the box. any suggestions?

    who has their battery in the trunk?

    i was thinking about putting the battery in the trunk also. i was reading on a site that it isnt a good idea because there isnt any air circulation in the trunk and batteries need that. is this true or whats the deal with this?

    bedliner coating in trunk?

    has anybody put the bedliner coating, either roll on or spray on, in their trunk? its sounds a like a good idea to keep it clean a rust free.

    primer/painting problems?...please help

    the temp right now is under 30 degrees. we have heaters that we turn on and warm the booth up to about 60 or so. should i reduce the clear?
