    dont even bother just spend the money to buy some aftermarket springs or even some stock 5.0 springs.its not worth it to go through all the trouble of cutting the old 4cy springs.hell go to the junkyard and grab some 5.0 springs

    so in theory i could just buy some parts from an early mustang 302.i just dont want to pay 300 bucks for a balancer thats alot of money.

    What shifter

    You cant go wrong with the pro 5.0 or the steed tri ax.they both feel pretty stout.i have also run a hurst but it got kinds sloppy with age i have been beating on my tri ax and pro 5.0 for years now still feel pretty good.
