whats the cheapest way to go about getting a 28oz balancer and flywheel,are there any stock ford vehicles that used this balance this is for a 331.thanks

I think that if you get an early 80's 5.0L it will be 28oz later 80's switched to 50oz for unknown reasons.
Your local machine shop could probably balance the flywheel you have to 28 or 50 ounce, though not too sure about rebalancing the harmonic balancer.

so in theory i could just buy some parts from an early mustang 302.i just dont want to pay 300 bucks for a balancer thats alot of money.
