    You guys who can slap them on a 96-98 GT are lucky. There is no way 315's would clear my Bassani exhaust. I've got 255/40s on a 17x9 rim with just about an inch clearance right now. I doubt if a 10.5" wheel would fit on mine.

    A word of caution -- try sticking to a manufacturers recommended wheels sizes. Not all tire sizes are the same. Example, a Nitto 285/40 probably has a smaller width than let's say a Goodyear 285/40.

    Excuse my California emissions ignorance, but even a CATTED x-pipe doesn't pass emmissions testing? isn't Bassani headquarters in California? I can understand an off-road... Suggestions? Maybe try a performance shop and not the local muffler chain. Also, commute to Arizona or Nevada...

    What rear wheel size are you going to go to? Is there that big a difference in price between your rears and the 245's up front? I ask this because you will lose your ability to rotate and in the long run you will save no money at all.
