    Help- need a daily driver

    I drive a 2002 ranger w/ 3.0L and auto as my DD (Da car is broken again Driver). It gets pretty good gas milage and still has decent power. I think the stock gears in the rear end are 4.10 to help w/ power, but that pulls the gas milage down a little. Its a nice compromise between the 2.3 and 4.0

    I wouldnt trust that caliper. I cant imagine a pad breaking apart (the pad backing is like 1/4 inch steel). And I dont know how the caliper could just drop the pad. I have my old calipers in the garage if you want them.
