    Thanks, think I've gotten most of it correct. Another area where I'm slightly confused, is where the power steer pump is, there is a bracket that I don't remember how it was assembled. Anyone have a picture?

    Long story short, I don't have camera, had to removed the timing chain cover and now that i'm putting it back together...there a few parts pieces that i'm not sure about as far as location. Anyone have a good picture or could take one of the front end of the motor? Would most appreciate it...

    Help, unknown Knock driving me crazy.

    Might be a tensioner :shrug: ..if there is any slack in the timing chain it will smack against the guide and cause a kind of ticking/knocking sound. Im in the process of replacing mine. It wasn't heard at all at idle or even around 1500 rpm, but anything above that and you could. Also...

    Driver side valve cover...seriously, wth!

    So....I need to removed the driver side valve cover and its obvioulsy a PITA, trying to do it without pulling the motor because its not an option at this point. I've removed the bolts for the cover, i've pushed back most of the wiring harness and I've removed 4 bolts for the master cylinder...

    I think I have a bad chain guide or tensionor Going through the Haynes manual, if i want to removed the timing cover it says to removed "drive belt, water pump pulley and the crankshaft pulley/vibration damper" To remove the pulley/vibration damper it says I have to removed the flywheel...

    If the tensioner has gone bad, do I have to remove the chain in order to replace that part or not really? The tensioner is the that block pushing up on the orange and white guide correct?

    I'm almost certain, but anyone else familiar with this sound...almost a rattling from the exhaust...so it seems. usually around the 1500-2000 rpm range...usually... Any gear... Driving or in neutral... If it is the cat going bad....I have a feeling its going to get louder if it breaks...
