TFS twisted wedge V AFR 165 heads

i see. I was going for the tfs heads but they have complications, such as require certain pushrod length, longer than stock, and with the weird valve angle they cant handle a cam lift of more than 224 degree .52? somthing like that. so now i think im leaning towards the afr 165's

TFS twisted wedge V AFR 165 heads

thanks for the info, but the tfs heads have 61cc and the afr 165 has 58cc...so im thinking i'd get better compression, not to mention the tfs heads flow their best at a higher lift than the afr's, so i'd get to peak power sooner. im jsut curious because i have no idea on which head actually...

What Heads are the best for street? TFS TW, GT40 etc?

thanks alot guys, ill take a look a these afr 165 heads. if they peak flow at a lower lift than twisted wedge heads then that is a better deal for low end power. thanks for the help

What Heads are the best for street? TFS TW, GT40 etc?

Hey , anyone got results or experience with using TFS twisted wedge heads? think they would flow good for low end power on a 302c.i. with cam lift of .512? anyone have any better suggestions like GT40 X303 heads? I just need some advice, im building a motor with the F303 cam, edelbrock rpm...

    TFS stage 1 V F303 cam

Hey anyone know which cam would pull stronger at low end take off... TFS stage 1 or F303 cam? The heads that are ebing used are TFS twisted wedge and the stang is a 3 speed automatic, with 3:25 gears and a 2800 stall convertor. This means I'd be taking off the line at 2800, the F cam has lift of...

Thinking of going with F303 cam...

well im running the stock 302 cam in it right now. will the F303 cam make a night and day difference in performance? do you have mostly top end power, mid or low end power from the F cam?

Thinking of going with F303 cam...

Hey guys ... anyone here have any experience with the F303 cam? Im planning to install it into the 5.0 block that im building, along with trick flow twisted wedge heads, kb flat tops, etc. is the F303 cam a good choice? The specs look pretty good...and from the 110 LSA it shuld have a great...

    Carb size?

Holley carbs offer the quick spring change option, where you can control when your 4 barrells kick in. thats what i like about the holleys. edelbrock is equal in performance but more complex when working on.

    advice for my 5.0 setup?

well 4.10 would be way too low for an automatic 3 speed i only have 3 gears so i would be taching out at like 4 grand at 60mph with 4.10 the e cam is what i was told to run very good low end power for a street car, i am not running through emmissions, so do you have any better suggestions for...
