    67 FB 428CJ PROJECT,Add power steering?

I like m/s, P/S is something that is nice to have, but if you don't have the money like me to get all the parts needed then I would stay with M/S. What is wrong with a little work. Also, why would you take this in a parking lot or grocery store? If you do, park far far away from any other...

Do you use your classic as your daily driver? Pros and Cons?

Well, my car is not currently in the condition to be driven as it does not have a engine, trans, suspension, etc. Years ago in high school when I had my other mustangs, I drove them when the weather was nice, other wise I drove my truck. Like now, I drive my 98 Silverado as my main...

Yeah I came across the site over a year ago. I had been looking and studying like crazy. I saw the HOT ROD mag on Panit it yourself cover. It shows how to do body work, etc. Nicely indepth little mag. Wish is was over a mustang instead of one they used. I forget what it was.

    Trying to figure this out...

It does not look like the Ford 7.5" rear, that is all I am saying, or the 8 or 9. 40 years ago the car was a 200 cid 6 cylinder car, but I don't know what engine was in it before I got it or the tranny. There is a possiblity the previous guy changed it. And he put on those really long leaf...

    Trying to figure this out...

Well, I was looking at my 4 lug rear axle that I took off my car and was wonder what kind it was, the car was originally a 6 cylinder, but that could have been changed by the previous owner, I don't know. The car did not come with a engine or tranny. On the front of the center housing, there...

Ok, you want another mustang? Well first check the classified ads and then look on ebay. Once and awhile someone on here is parting with theirs, but I wouldn't hold out. There is a 66 White mustang coupe in this salvage yard near where I live, well, it may still be there, but they wanted like...

Yes, an update would be great. I am eager to see more. I cannot say whether or not I like the idea or the after of this project. It goes without saying the effort and time put into it is outstanding. I am amazed at the fabrication. From all of us in the arm-pitt of Kansas solute you SN65...

    Big Block vs. Small Block

427 weighs 687 or something, I could pick it up! With my bare hands. Well, maybe not, but I can deadlift closed to that weight. Who needs a engine hoist. I have thought about he engine thing too. I would be easy to get my hands on a 351W but I am trying to make a replica and would like to...

    Winter and rust

Yeah the paint is like one of the bad sides of it, but I am not painting the car, just some of the pieces and priming, primer dries faster. Also, for me, my garage is attached to my house and stays well insulated, "warm" when I need it. That is why i bust my ass durning the winters because its...

    Winter and rust

Do you think it is better to do body work in the cold season because of the decline in humidity and moisture? This is kind of a out there question but in the summer when doing body work, sanding etc. You have to hurry cuz bare metal will rust fast.

What do you guys recommend I do with this rust?

Don't waist your time sandblasting it, if its on the roof, don't risk the possibility of warping it with a blaster. Use some elbow grease and a orbital grinder (or block and sandpaper) and just work them out. Those aren't bad. You should have seen the inside of my car under the roof, it was...
