    here's the install faq i am working off of... http://www.mouthbreather.net/IRSSWAP.HTML i've read the MM article as well. There is also some massaging of the frame rails and a stock cobra exhaust is needed but it is a pretty straightforward swap.

    no fabrication needed... it's an OEM cobra IRS but when i purchased it there were no brackets. So i sourced the OEM brackets to mount it to the car. Just have to do some brake line modification and remove the oem snub mount.

    strange idle - 87 5.0 LX

    when sitting in neutral the idle is fine for a minute or two and then it starts becoming a bit erratic and then finally stalls. any ideas?

    it really depends on what you want in a car... this is like comparing apples to rasins. the civic is going to be cheaper to maintain in the long run... everything from gas to maintenance will be cheaper than the GT. Will the GT be more fun? probably, but you can also mod a civic to be a fun...
