prepping the car for some autoX duty in the spring... Having received the set of 03 cobra front control arms I bought for $30 I decided to tear into the car today and install the cobra front brakes and sn95 spindles I've had sitting around collecting dust (were purchased for my other project mustang). Took pretty much all day (had to take a couple trips to the parts store) but it is all finally in.

oh and the seats - not crazy bout the red but they were cheap enough

gonna tackle the cobra irs install sometime early in the week. Tomorrow is going to be devoted to starting the front frame rail replacement on the 69.

no specs yet since i haven't gone for an alignment... but it is pretty extreme.

Those Cobra arms are longer than the Fox arms, so it's gonna be very tough to get it within specs. SOme quality CC plates may help, but you'll probably have camber permanently and wear the insides of your tires.

Most guys do not run SN95 arms with their SN95 conversions because of this reason

that was the point... car doesn't see much street duty and it'll see next to none come springtime. Basically just going to be using it for autoX weekends and a couple HPDE's. The tires that are on it now are just some crap i had sitting around that I got for free. The rims came with Yokohama Advan DOT approved race tires and they'll be what is going back on in the spring. Also have camber plates on it already.

sometime this week... after this install I've decided this car is cursed. In all my years working on cars I've never had to use a hammer and torch this much! Also noticed the damn rack is leaking.
