    Family Pictures haha

nice Nice lookin stable you got there. Which one is quickest in the 1/4? Im guessing the bikes are a little faster than the Mustang, but probably not much.

    Flowmasters

You will notice a little bit more sound if you are upgrading from stock and having some flows welded in. That is what I did. Then just the other day added the o/r xpipe.... now it sounds like a v8 should (at a minimum =)

    Disable factory alarm

I am wondering how I can disable the factory alarm? When I got the car, someone had already installed a high end Clifford and I am happy with that. When the factory alarm starts going off, I cant even figure out how to turn it off. The only thing that works is disconnecting the battery...

    Mexicans and Altezzas???

True. Blanket statements are seldom if ever VALID. Not to mention it screams of ignorance.

    2008 Sturgis Mustang Rally Aug 28 - Sep 1

It cost me $50 in gas to ride my Harley from Washington to Sturgis. Im scared to think what it would cost to get the Mustang over there.

    MIL and CEL

Cool, thanks. What about the hangers? Will the stock hangers work when I install the xpipe, or will I need to do some fabricating/welding?

    MIL and CEL

I am planning to install my new Xpipe tomorrow. Question about the MIL eliminators. I understand these keep my CEL from coming on. Do the MILs allow the CEL to come on for OTHER problems? Or are the MILs going to keep the CEL from coming on ever? Seems like this might be a little dangerous...

    Creeking noise is steering.

Yep. I just had my tie rods replaced. It made the awful squeak when turning the wheel, especially at a stop or slow speeds. The shop I went to said my factory ones were non-lube but the new ones can be lubed so they should last longer. Luckily, fairly inexpensive fix in the grand scheme.

    $200 X-Pipe

I only have $200 to spend on an O/R X-pipe. I found this on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290213692313&ssPageName=ADME:X:AAQ:MOTORS:1123 I am far from knowledgeable about engines and exhaust so if someone knows of a better piece for the money, I would...

    Considering a mustang, have questions

I have a stock 97 auto and do all in-town driving. All the stop and go driving must kill my mileage because I average 13 mpg.

    high pitched whine

fuel pump whine So, is that just the way they are? Nothing to worry about? Thanks

    high pitched whine

What is at the rear of the car that would produce a high pitched whine (squeal) while running? It sounds like its coming right from behind the license plate. Are fuel pumps in the rear? Maybe they make the noise when going bad? I havent noticed any performance issues. Any ideas? Its a 97...

    Front end is too low

Will isolaters gain me ground clearance? Are they fairly easy to install?

    Front end is too low

front springs Not stock. The previous owner apparently lowered it with springs. I traced the model number down to saleen racecraft if that means anything. Both front tires were worn on the inside with lots of tread on the outside when I got it. So, I would like it slightly lowered, but not...

    Front end is too low

I want to raise my front end a little. It is just too low for standard around town driving. I scrape even just inching over a speed bump in a parking lot. Is there anything wrong with just replacing the front coil springs and leaving the rears? Or do I need to do them as a set?
