    Might be picking up an 86 GT soon, currently has no cats. The seller is telling me that the car doesn't need them. I thought the car had to be older to be exempt from the sniffer test. Anyone know the cut off date, or know where to find it? The RMV site sucks.

    I know how you feel, I had to sell my car a few years back (it wasn't even close to being as nice as yours).     very true, i still havn't perfected out how to launch mine. if you just rev it and dump the clutch the clutch/trans/cv joints won't last long. it is very easy to launch and bog like crazy especially in stock form.
