    S197 wheel fitment, IRS Questions...

That's what I was going to do, I was going to run 5.5"x3.5" 1/8" steel plates to run the vertical bolts through, then weld the plate to the floor pan once project is in and done. Could you post up pics? I'd like to see what it looks like completed. How much were the brackets from the company? I...

    S197 wheel fitment, IRS Questions...

As some of you know, I'm swapping an IRS rear in my notch back. I thought everything was accounted for, but now I have differing opinions on wheels and offsets. What BS do I have to run to fit a 9" rim in the back? will 5.97" be enough? Or do I need over 6"? I want to run the 18x9 FR500s Front...

The get rid of the junk in your garage thread!

Got everything I need. But if anyone knows where I can get caliper bolts to hold the front/rear calipers to the axle/spindles (15mm) let me know, the stealership wants $30 for just the front...

    Brembo Kit Arrives!!! =*PICS*=

You can get them for a pretty decent price, I just paid nearly the same price for 01 PBR brake pads... http://www.buyfordracing.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=506 Yes, they are Brembo specific, but they are readily available.

Let's talk tires (comapnies, sizes, reviews)...

I have narrowed the search. I have three candidates: BFGoodrich g-Force Super Sport A/S Goodyear Eagle F1 All Season Pirelli PZero Nero M&S Anyone have experience with these? I'm leaning towards the Pirellis, based on TireRack and how they compare to more expensive Michelins (Very closley) but...

Let's talk tires (comapnies, sizes, reviews)...

I have Khumo Ecsta 711s on my waffle rims and don't like them too much. I don't exactly feel sure footed in the rain with them to tell you the truth.

Let's talk tires (comapnies, sizes, reviews)...

Well I'm in tire buying season this coming January, as I'm getting new wheels for Christmas. I'm getting 18x9 FR500s at all four corners of my notch. I would love 18x10 in the back, but I'm worried about my IRS setup running into problems if I go that wide. I need an all season tire, I want...

    Cutting stock springs?

How much did you cut? 3/4 a coil is the max I will probably cut.

    95gt brakes to 98 Cobra?

I don't know the physics behind it, but the bigger the bore, the heavier the pedal. If you run the 13" rotors and Cobra calipers, GET the 94/95 Cobra MC. The reasons the Cobra have different fitting is so the factory didn't install the wrong MCs on the wrong cars (I believe the threads in the...

    Cutting stock springs?

I'm only cutting the front springs, why don't I just cut the bottom of the spring?

    Searching for IRS Swap threads

Don't buy an IRS unless it comes with the mounting brackets. They are a little expensive new from Ford, and good luck finding them on they're own.

    Cutting stock springs?

I need a temporary replacement front spring (selling the drag springs, need something to hold me over until I get aftermarket springs) and all I have is the stockers. I HATE the 4x4 stance with them so I want to cut them (Plus I'm going to install an IRS, so I have 04 Cobra rear springs...

    95gt brakes to 98 Cobra?

Again, no. The rear GT rotors aren't vented, therefore they are much thinner then BOTH the Cobras, and the stock front GT (what you want to use) rotors. FYI: If you use the 98 spindles, they will push your front wheels out by 8mm each side, and the endlinks have to be adjusted for the...

    Rear disks/calipers, few questions...

I figured I'd post here, since the boneheads int he 5oh section only know drums :D haha. But seriously, I figured you guys would have more experience and be able to reffer to a car haing 94/95s: 1) Are the rear calipers side specific? How do you know which way does it go? 2) How many copper...

    Stock 04 Cobra springs..

I'm installing an IRS in my fox and I'm using stock 04 Cobra springs (Coupe). I was going to install the fronts also since I have drag springs in the front of my notch. My question is, will the car have a 4x4 look with these springs? It's a full weight notch but it does have aluminum cylinder...

    AN fitting ?'s

No, flip the rails to line up with the stock lines. That braided line crossover belongs in the back.

    AN fitting ?'s

The bigger fitting needs to be at the front of the engine, not the rear. The rear fittings should be the same size and just connect the 2 rails.
