Let's talk tires (comapnies, sizes, reviews)...

Well I'm in tire buying season this coming January, as I'm getting new wheels for Christmas. I'm getting 18x9 FR500s at all four corners of my notch. I would love 18x10 in the back, but I'm worried about my IRS setup running into problems if I go that wide. I need an all season tire, I want something with good wet/dry traction as it is for my DD. I was considering running 275/40/18 out back and 245/40/18 up front. Now I ask, what tire companies have you guys dealt with? How did you like them? Would you buy them again?

Maybe I could setup a criteria that I'm looking for:
Brand (Goodyear, Michelin, Nitto, Toyo, BFGoodridge etc..)
Make (F1, Pilot, 555 etc...)
Size
Mileage you got out of it
Wet/Dry traction
Rim size

Brand: Falken
Make: FK452
Size: 255/35/18 and 285/35/18
Mileage you got out of it: Still run them, 3500 or so now
Wet/Dry traction: Out of 10, 8/8, sometimes they hook like a dream, others not perfect.
Rim size: 18x9/10
Comments: I bought them because they were cheap, and have been 1.91 60' on lowering springs.

I've ran AVON 550 tyres on my ponys. Not bad but only 4 passes at the track and 15k and they needed to be replaced. Hooked okay on 3.08 gears, no way on 4.10's.

I now have a cheap set of Hankook Ventus II on the rears, not bad so far but less than 500 miles on them.

My brother has a set of Yokohama Avid TS on his dodge dakota and likes them a lot. He talked me into a set for my 90 Crown Vic.

I used to run the BFG G-force KDWS...and those tires were amazing! They had excellent dry grip and seemed to last forever. I got over 20k on them...and thats pretty good for the back of a mustang!

Currently i am running some Falken 512's maybe...They seem to hook alright, and they handle fairly well. Not as good as the BFG's though. But the price was hard to beat!

I have narrowed the search. I have three candidates:
BFGoodrich g-Force Super Sport A/S
Goodyear Eagle F1 All Season
Pirelli PZero Nero M&S

Anyone have experience with these? I'm leaning towards the Pirellis, based on TireRack and how they compare to more expensive Michelins (Very closley) but the other two aren't rated.
