    I am doing a 5.0 to 96 DOHC 4.6 swap. For the t-45 transmission is there a difference between the cobra t-45 and the gt t-45? The mount... the gearing? Or are they the same? thanks tony

    quick question on the t-56

    I want to put a t-56 in my 88 mustang.. I am putting a 96 4v motor in it. Is the t-56 tranny a cable clutch system, or a hydrolic system? I have also heard about this hydroboost brake thing... Is that needed for the 4.6 swap? I would like to have power brakes.

    thanks for the info guys... there goes that idea for my 4.6 swap on my conv. I guess i will just have to go with a procharger with intercooler then... i saw the kenne bell blower is about $5 large! I know i could pick up a used procharger for a decent price!!!

    Major RPM drop when engine fan comes on.

    I would say check the alternator and battery... stangGT97 has a cheap way of testing.. take it to A Z.. I dont like their parts but hey when the testing is free.. do it!!

    Does anyone know if the eaton Blower that goes on the 03-04 4v motor will fit on a 96 4v motor? I was told that it would fit and i was told that it wouldnt fit. If the blower wont fit... why not??

    YOu can think of it this way... you can spend 200 bucks a tire every 5,000 miles or you can bite the bullit and have it aligned. I used to be an alignment tech at a NTB. I set up my fox with the plates. I had to grind the towers to get it ALMOST in spec. I have the D&D kmember, a-arms, coil...

The 4v motor that i am getting will have a eaton blower on it.. going with the eaton because they are cheap on ebay, and i already have a 10sec 347stroker in another car..So i wanna be fast but not too crazy. Going by the threads...

    Yes i believe the 96 cobras came with a t45 in them... I would love to have that beefy 6speed! i just need to know what the hard parts are gonna be. Will i have to relocate the trany crossmember? And so on.... I do not know of anyone in my area with a modular/t56 fox... I want to be that guy!!!
