    procomp dist

    can anyone tell me if the procomp distributors are any good or if they had any problems with them,i have a very slight miss at around 1500 to 2000 rpm ,im pretty sure this distributor is the problem,i have a new procomp pc8022

    oil pump reply hello ,right now i am running casteroil syntec 10w-30 i also relocated the oil filter in the grill with an oil cooler,seems to work fine,the motor im building to put in i also cut out the bottom pan to make room for more oil,going to cut the pan off of a duetz diesel and weld it...

    balancer 50 0z the numbers i found on the damper are e4te-a3a,so i am guessing its an 1984 truck balancer,does anyone know for sure,also not sure what amount of teeth are on the flexplate till i get the other motor out,its is a stock bell housing on a 1970 c-4

    i read in some of your articles ,about 28 oz and 50 oz balancers,i have 87 ho,i was told it was 28 oz ,it was hooked up to a c-6,i am putting it in my 1970 it will be hooked up with a c-4,i think i will have to change the flex plate to do this, is there any way to tell the difference between 28...

    the motor was bored.30 over,with new ford flatops installed,the original heads were bad so they matched them up with e7 heads,this was done by beasely rebuilders in altoona pa,they specialize in ford motors
