where do I put the A/C compressor/ PS pump

At the area where the AC line goes into the firewall (top passanger side area of engine bay), I was able to actually rotate/pivot the line where the line is hard and goes into a small veritcal cylinder shape, then wraps back into the firewall. Then, I was able to take the AC line lock pin...

New engine in, vibration during acceleration

Well I turned the driveshaft and seemed to help slightly. But I drove it around tonight and it is a RPM vibration I think. I would be driving 20-30ish around 1300 rpms and would have the vibrations... then punch it up around 2200 rpms and it smooth out drastically. The same would happen on the...

New engine in, vibration during acceleration

As in the vibration is being transferred through the body more now?? It seems pretty excessive though, the wheel will shake pretty good ... like having warped rotors, etc.

New engine in, vibration during acceleration

Hey all, I have the new engine combo in and am experiencing vibration during slow rpm movement and acceleration. It is a “soft vibration” that you can feel through the car, and I can definitely feel it through the steering wheel. No odd noises though. It seems to settle down some at...

What are the biggest Wheels/Tires I can put on my 95 GT

Hi welcome! You can go with a 10.5 rim and a 315/35/17 tire. I have this combo with no rubbing, and no modification. Most people have to swap/remove their quad shocks though...

    aftermarket hood alignment

Typically on the SN95 cars, have people had to adjust the hood bracket where it mounts on to the BODY for alignment (not the mounting bracket to the hood)??? Also, have many modifications to the stock hood latch been required, or slight movement up/down??? I'm still working on getting mine...

Pull fully dressed engine WITH AODE?

Hey guys, Getting ready to pull my engine, and was wondering if you think it is possible to pull the engine out WITH THE AODE attached? I'm going to remove the radiator, etc. and leave as much on as I can (front accessories, shorties, etc.). My only concern was the AODE. Let me know if anyone...

AC Condenser - Other years fit ours?

In my quest to improve cooling for the Mustang I found a post that CobraJet NJ posted: ""Do you still have the stock A/C condenser in front of the radiator? The reason I upgraded mine to a 97 Cobra condenser was because the stock 94/95 A/C condenser is very DENSE (the fins are way to close...

    FordRacing M-5400-A SN95 Handling Kit???

Hi, the sway bars that came with the kit were SMALLER than my stock GT's bars. I left my stock ones on, and plan to sell the sway bars from the kit. So I'm sure it's the same with your cobra. As far as the springs go, I do not think they are C or B springs.. but whatever FMS used on the...

    FordRacing M-5400-A SN95 Handling Kit???

Hi, I installed this kit about 3 weeks ago. Bought from summit for like $400 shipped. It is the same difference as the Bullitt suspension. The install was very easy, NO compressor needed for the springs, just drop the A arm all the way, and they come right out. I can get before/after...

    Oil Sep Install...

Did you install the oil baffle that goes on the lower intake? I did NOT and I have the same problem of oil... I have read that switching the stock oil baffle over to your new intake DRASTICALLY reduces this problem. I'm thinking about pulling mine all apart again to do this, or make a custom...

no intake oil baffle and lot's of oil sucked up

hey all, During my first lower intake swap I forgot to put the oil baffle back on. I have a turbocoupe one-way PCV valve in with a oil catch can on the line going back into my upper intake. Well, the can fills up pretty quick to 3/4 full, then stays there. Seems a little weird, that it...

Walbro 255 in-tank pump going out?

Hey all, I have a in-tank walbro 255 fuel pump that has around 10,000 miles on it over 6 months. The other day after filling up the car would only turn over. I was getting plenty of spark, so I moved on to a fuel problem. One mechanic suggested banging on the fuel tank while cranking...
