    Explain how a carb can cause a backfire? I would look for another problem as well. Power Valves can be blown out with a backfire.

    I just installed rear brakes on my 98 GT. The parking brake seems to be slightly engaged all the time. When I pull the parking brake lever It immediatley seems to be engaged. My Haynes manual said there is no adjustment. What gives?
