    My Father-In Law works at the local ford Dealership. (Service Dept) I can probably take an '05 out on a test drive for free! :nice: "Free" meaning without the hassle of being hounded by a salesman.

    To answer your questions: 1. 50 k miles 2. The fluid had never been changed. 3. I checked the fluid level, and it looks good. Kind of a light burgandy color. 4. Nothing like that has happened. :nice:

    I have the same problem on my '00 GT 'Vert...kind of. When I put it in reverse (Auto) it sometimes revs up like I tapped on the pedal for a few seconds. I am thankful I have my foot on the brake when it happened. :) StangVert00
