Fog Lamp Switch Replacement?

Greetings,

I own a '00 GT 'Vert.
The light on the fog lamp switch that indicates that they are on or off does not work.
But the fog lamps do work.
Can I replace just that tiny lamp on the switch, or do I need a whole new switch?
I am thinking a whole new switch.

there probably is a replaceable bulb inside the switch. I am not sure since I have never had to replace the switch or the light in it but it's a similar switch to the traction control one that does have bulbs in it.

Pop the cup holder thingy out, just pull straight up on it. Then look in there at an angle and pop the coin holder out (my car is a 98 so I am basing it on that) so yours would probably be traction control . Anyway, if I remember corrrectly you have to push the sides of the switch and then just push up from where you took the cup holder insert out. There may be clips but I am pretty sure that you just squeeze the sides and push/pull the switch up, then disconnect the electrical connector. I hope that makes sense. After the cup holder is out you can look up in there and see with a flashlight .. It's not that hard, but can be frustrating. Take your time, you will figure it out.
