    valve spring problem

    thanks for the replies mustang70 and Ronstang. I soaked the lifters overnight in oil. I think you may be right about my eyes playing tricks on me, I just turned the motor over by hand. I plan on firing up the car this weekend (hopefully earlier but I got shcool), so I hope nothing goes wrong.

    my mods are in my sig. its weird but even with my new suspension my car still handles like a boat, the only thing my mods seem to have accomplished is smoothing out my ride. I still have not taken my car to the canyons to really test it but on the streets it seems to behave just like before...

    the problem only seems to be on the passenger side cylinder head, only valves 1 and 6 on this side only all the way, all the others seem to open a little bit shorter. the valves on the driver side cylinder head all open properly.

    Why does my car shift so early

    I just tried adjusting the vaccum modualteor and now my car shifts at 4.5K rpm. thank you so much. I will do some for adjustments tommorow and hopefully I can get it to shift at 5K. thanks again.
