Off / on, OFF / on does it ever decide?

I had an adjustable fuel pressure regulator that had a busted disk and it leaked gas into the intake while It was cranking. I would have to flood start often. I pulled the vac line that runs to the regulator and found gas squirting out full stream from the regulator.

TFS-1 cam, GT40 heads and Speed Density

i installed the Trick flow top end kit on my 88 and the car run horrible. It would barely run unless you were wide open. Mass Air conv. fixed the car instantly. Maybe your combo was a little closer to stock as far as the SD computer was concerned

E7's, does it matter which side?

If the heads are already bolted on then just go to ford dealer and buy the inserts that thread into the holes. Lot better than taking the heads off and replacing gaskets and going through the torque sequence.

ran trickflow top end kit tonight

the fun part is I am only 2 miles from the track. So I can drive the car to the track. I would love to have a longer strip closer but I am 1.5 hrs away from the next closest track. I am shifting into third gear about 15 feet from the line. I could have used a 4.30 gear or a 3.73. What 60ft...

AFR 185s, would I have to fly-cut the pistons??

both are great heads. I went with the Trickflows because You get the 202 valves and don't have to notch the pistons. Either are impressive compared to stock and other heads. With mild porting they have potential for more that a street car needs.

    351 Modified in a fox?

I've seen stories of people slapping on a set of heads and an intake to the 351M and getting atleast 350 Hp to the wheels. Still I don't think it would be worth the trouble to install it in to a stang. But it should be no harder that a 460 swap.

New brakes, but still no better at stopping

I never realy noticed a hissing sound. My pedal was tough. I could push with everything and could not get it to lock up. I'm not sure thats you problem but it will be pretty cheap to try. The fluid should be less that $10 just might take a little time. Also some cheap (Advanced,Autozone) brakes...

New brakes, but still no better at stopping

I had the same problem with my car. I fixed it by changing all the brake fluid to synthetic DOT 4 fluid. I drained all the lines and pumped the fluid through until it was all clear. It made a night and day difference.

    Metal heater line problems!

My hard heater line is leaking in the front where it threads into the intake. The joint slides up and down and water is leaking out of the joint not the threads. Is there any fix for this? Any one have a hard line they don't need? What about doing away with the line and putting the temp sensor...

    mass air conversion question?

I am having a hard time finding the EECIV connector pins to do the install. I noticed that I will need two pins to get the signal+-. I don't have the thermactor system any more. Can I use those two pins for the signal for the Mass air meter?
