    I bought a 91 lx 5.0, it had no cd player or tape player so I bought a aftermarket pioneer and installed it. No sound? powers up fine though, Pulled all speakers to check connection and fine there, all fuses are fine, it does not even have the premium system also my door locks do not work either...

    So would a cobra intake work alright with my stock heads and cam? I was thinking typhoon but the cobra is like 30 bucks more on ebay and am sure it flows better. Maybe recommend some heads and cam to go with this intake somthing mild not exotic?

    Oh yea, does anyone also know where I can get the hurst shifter that comes with the boot that replaces the whole stock boot and has a hurst logo on the new piece with the chrome handle and white knob? Not really relivant just saw this in a 5.0 at car show and want to know where to get one. Thanks.

    Ford dealership put in a OEM I assume. But the others where ordered from car quest and installed by smalltown mechanic so that could have somthing to do with it. But I can not explain the oem ford one?

    I never put them in myself, always had the shop do it. I did see them and it looks to overheating almost maybe that is making them crack. I will check and see if the blower is hitting it as well.
