Im going to start this thread by rewinding to 2015 when I found and bought this car for a customer. This was May near Orlando FL.
I wondered if we'd get the obligatory 'pony at the pump' pic, even if it is on a trailer!!

A private seller. This car actually had an interesting history which I will be getting into.
Its always a bonus when you get one with the original window sticker.
I asked because I met Pete Giesler (probably not the correct spelling) years ago, he dealt with classic mustangs and was dabbling in foxs years ago.
This is the other piece of info you need to have if you own a real Saleen. The letter of authenticity.
These are pics from 2019. My customer brought me the car to do a trans swap. Somewhere along the way, someone had put a 6 speed in this car and he wanted it to have a 5 speed like it came with. So I installed a tremec 3550.
In the last pic, on the left side of the console, what is that sticking out from the bottom of the console? Doesn't look like a mounting screw.
Those are controls for the Saleen equiped adjustable suspension package it came with
tell me more about the adjustable suspension.
I was hoping for machine guns mounted someplace.
Lol! Nope.
It was called cockpit adjustable suspension and worked with the monroe adjustable shocks and struts. All long gone and replaced with race valved bilsteins, and MMs torque arms setup. Even back when new..it sounded cool but really did nothing. You were supposed to be able to adjust stiffness on the fly
Got to think about that. I have a whole bunch sitting and waiting on action incuding a new T-56
