0.060" longer roller followers? better ratio?

So, there I was trying to make sense of the SealedPower catalogue, while deciding on what rebuild kit to go with, when I noticed that they offer roller followers for the (Ranger) roller cam that are 0.060" longer! Would these be higher ratio? If so, I know the 2.3L is a high tolerance motor, but is there enough room in the chamber to up the ratio of the followers to net higher valve lift?
Anyone heard or tried?

.060 longer? If the follower was longer, it wouldn't fit the HLA and valve tips at the right point. no, if it were .060 taller or shorter on one end, that might make some sense.
I would imagine that they should be used for a cam with a smaller base circle, like the reground ranger cams, and a high performance circle track cam.
