I used a Mach 1 PCM in the car, along with the Mach 1 wiring harness.
The current combination will NOT be dyno'd,
as Al Papitto is building a high torque long block for it.
The tune currently in the car is an SCT high performance Mach 1 tune,
with a bit of fuel added.
Currently I have LT's on the car, modified from a Mach 1/Cobra set.
Mach 1/Cobra exhaust manifolds will fit with very minor mods.
FRPP shorty headers will fit as is.
Navi exhaust manifolds will not fit.
Navi has an 8 bolt crankshaft, so a Cobra bellhousing, flywheel and clutch can be used.
Any 4.6 trans will fit, mine is a 2000 "R" spec T56 from FRPP.
I have gone over every conceiveable aspect of this swap,
and it is easier than you could ever believe.
It will fit 96-04 Mustangs, with V8 cars (especially 32V equipped) being the simplest.
With the kit, it will fit under a stock 99-04 GT hood scoop. (sleeper)
Josh, I see you are in Florida.
If you are ever in the Fort Myers area (SW Fla.),
you can come check it out if you'd like.

I live in Naples and would be very interested in checking it out sometime. That is amazing work that you are doing and eventually would be very interested in doing a swap like that.

Kit bolts in.
Al has 2 SN95's with the 5.4 32V. (Both 00 "R" based)

It's not a problem of making it fit.

It's the money and know how to do it. Neither of which I will ever have enough to do.

I hear you.
This hobby is not cheap by any means.
As far as know how, it is no more difficult than installing 4.6 32V.
Cost wise it's about the same depending what you start with.
The fun factor is well worth it though.
It is now an option that really wasn't available previously.

I see you decided not to go with the "R" style side exhaust. I personally think it would have looked extra bad ass with both that and rear spoiler.....and the '00 R front end, etc, etc.

Awww hell, I just think building a clone would have been super cool.

Heh. Reminds me of a Golf that VW used to sell called the Harlequin:

She looks great in red but she'd be sinister in a flat-black similar to the front fenders and bumper covers in the pic above...
