basically nos = you win. cheap easy mod

cams. cams and you gear should get you the win if you can keep traction.

there is no way you are going to get him if he can drive with an easy bolt ons without wieght reduction.

or you can get a pair of slicks and pray you don't break something.

my .02 is if you just want to be able to beat him for braggin rights is run as NOS kit. I would do cams because I like power at all times. you are going to be 20-30hp less than him I dont' think your gears will make up for that.

I had a 02 GT before the Mach and there was no way my old would keep up with this one. Off the line the GT seamed a little faster, but top end this thing pulls like crazy. I got sick of trying to make my old one get up to 300+HP so I broke down and got a Mach. I would tell you to save your money and don't just buy a NOS kit to beat your friend. Tell your friend to give you some time to mod the GT then you'll run. I had a friend that had a 2000 Lightning when I had my '91 notch, and he used to do the same thing to me. So I spent the $$$, built the car, and handed him his ars!!! He didn't talk trash to me ever again. The Mach might be faster now, but with the right $$$ and mods you could smoke one. Good Luck

Want I want to know is, why is it so damn important to go beat up on each other? Why don't you both put some of this effort and money into beating up on GTO's, Fbods, and ricers?? But, just for the record, the Mach 1 will most likely kick your butt and give you change, even with an extra $500 in mods.

Have to say spray.

Otherwise, stuff a potato in his exhaust then have your girlfirend flash him at the start.

My friend just bought a new Mach 1 and has been talking crap about it ever since. He says that he would "Destroy" me in a race and that it wouldn't even be close. Of course, the Mustang Enthusiast that I am, I now have to keep up or BEAT him.

Now you see he wouldnt have to worry about beating him but his friend says hes going to destroy his car , now we can have all that smack talking going on , I think the Mach needs to get sprayed , give this guy some ACT RIGHT so he dont go trying to buck up on every little GT he sees , thinking hes the 'Kiss Me''Kiss Me''Kiss Me''Kiss Me'ZNIT ya know .
