Hey all,

Wanted to get some opinions on a wheel/tire combo since I'm thinking about switching out. Right now I'm running 95 Cobra R Wheels in a 17X9 with 255/40/17s up front and 17X10.5 with 275/40/17 in the rear. Tires are Cooper Zeon XS.

I recently noticed that my front tires are wearing substatially faster than the rear, to the point where I went ahead and bought a new pair of BF Goodrich g-Force Super Sports (primarly for the high performance with better treadwear factor) that I'm going to have mounted until the rear set wears down a little more. Heres what I am wondering :

Should I swap the wheels out back for a 17X9 and then run a 255/40/17 all around or even a bigger tire in the rear like a 275/40/17? Moving to this would allow me to rotate. Or keep the wheels I have now in the rear and just upgrade the tires to BF Goodrich when they wear some more. I have seen some posts that say a 315 on a 17X10.5 is the optimum fit. Mainly this stang is a daily driver. Thanks for the help!
