01 and up 6 disc in a 99 mach 460, will it work?

I am thinking about buying a 6disc out of a 02 and up gt with mach 460 to replace my double units in my 99 mach 460, simply because my brother 02 mach 460 sounds a hell of a lot better than mine, especialy at high volumes, so i want to do this and i just need you guys to tell me if its possible and how hard?
