Has anyone seen an 01 Cobra front paired with an 03 or 04 Cobra hood? I know that if you use the Ford version there is a funny gap but I believe Cervinis makes a version of the hood that has no gap on a non-03/04 Cobra front. If anyone has pics that would be awesome!

Man thats the EXACT combo I was thinking about doing myself. I also have the 99-01' Cobra front bumper (checked out your Car Domain), and wanted to get the 03-04' Cobra hood to set it off - that or an 00' Cobra R hood. I was also worried about the gap and ditched the idea.

I looked around on Cervini's site and you are right they do make the heat extractor hood. If it is designed to leave no gap, that would be great.

Pic from Cevini's site:

Bookmarking this - hopefully someone can chime in with more info on the hood...

Ya, I was thinking about doing the Y2K R hood too, but SO many people seem to have that hood, I wanted to do something a little more unique. But I wanna see it first! My other option I've been considering is getting the 01 Cobra hood, cause I figure I could find an 03/04 V6 and be like "hey, I'll trade you hoods" they get a GT hood and I get a "Cobra hood".

Cobra hoods are designed to work with Cobra bumpers unless otherwise noted, due to the hood itself coming forward an additional inch or whatever.

i vote 03/04 Heat Extractor hood. Looks good and is functional. but im biased.........

The 03/04 hood and bumper combo is the best thing I have ever done to my car. Especially with the big procharger 3 core upfront. Scares the Evo guys away.
