got the hose assemblies overnighted (thanks AMAZON, 32 dlls, dealer wanted 100)
filled with coolant, let cool, checked level and refilled some. then I decided to test drive.
after temp got to normal, I started to hear pinging, then some rough running, drive it back home and it was making some loud metallic sounds at idle. I figured the engine was done, especially since it would not start, it was rough to turn over.
called a wrecking yard to price and engine and was going to remove my amp and subs to have it towed for engine replacement (1,300 dlls), but decided to start it so hear the noises again: no noise, it started right up, no water in oil, smooth running......
WTF any one have any suggestions!!!!!
