Hey,

Okay so by looking at my sig you can see my exhaust so far and that i went with SLP all the way through. Now SLP's X-pipe has cats on it but they are removable and all you need is a piece of pipe to fit into the same spot as the Cats (which SLP sells) Now my question is do any of you know if it is hard to do the 02 sensors? Do i need to take the X-pipe down to install the new sensors.

Heres another Q for ya. What happens if i where to run my car with just the headers only? Will i pull up a whole bunch of codes? I'd like to race my car with straight headers and a muffler on each one. Any Suggestions?

Thanks,

Nick

It should take you 10 minutes tops to replace all the O2 sensors, the pipe does not have to be removed to get at them. All you need is a 7/8" wrench and be careful not to burn yourself.

Personally I would never run off open headers...

Do you mind me asking why you wouldn't run open headers?

Thanks for the info on the install!

you don't have any where near the mods to be able to run straight headers without a power loss.

Not to mention the torque loss down low (if you ran open headers...)

Okay so racing right now with open headers is going to be a bad idea, but what about just to hear how it sounds? Will i run into any problems?
I'm talking about like just starting it up and going up and down the street.

it will be loud and obnoxious, it will throw some codes, but it should run ok if you baby it with the pedal. Theres just no reason to do so though. You can't run open headers at the track any way. All you're doing is looking to piss your nieghbors off and get a ticket.

Your SLP setup should be obnoxious enough on its own.
