02 gt stock cam lift and max spring lift

i was wandering if anybody knew what the stock cam and spring lift is on a 02 mustang gt... im lookin at buying the comp cams but not sure which to buy.... the 500. lift or the 550.

.500 lift is for npi motors, .550 lift is for pi motor, go with the .550 lift and dont take the change with stock springs, go with comp cams beehive valve springs part # 26113-16, you can buy them anywhere betwwen $150-$180.......

well whats the stock cam spec.s? im not really wanting to change the stock springs... is it really worth it? cause i want a lopey idle... but dont wana hv to upgrade my computer an all....

I've got Comp XE262AH ("stage 1") cams that have 0.545" or 0.550" lift on both valves and have had them in there for a while with stock springs and so far at least, no problems.

I've been tempted, especially lately with the blower, to go to a better spring but only for the increased spring pressure.

i think its .500-.530 lift, but it you plan on reving it to 6000ish, i would do the spring upgrade, its cheap insurance..........

mk well is the xe274h still an improvement from my stock cams? whats the stock cam specs?
