02 sensor harness question

I've looked over my 02 sensor harness and it looks questionable. So I'm going to put a new harness in. I noticed a little blue plug that goes into the drain pan (I'm assuming that's the oil level sensor), and I'm not sure how to remove it. For anyone that has ever installed one, how do I get this plug out of the oil pan? Do I just pop it out or do I have to pull of that huge hex bolt?

Thanks!

You can't just POP it out.
There is a metal clip that holds in into place. If you screw up the clip (I did) you'll need to buy another low oils sensor plug the HUGE hex bolt your talking about.

All low oil sensors may not be the same as stangbear427 stated.
I pulled the clip out took a quick pics the metal clip I was refering to. The clip is what actually holds the sensor connector in.

this is how mine look on all 3 of my cars. The plug just snaps into it. The clip referred to is just a spring detent that holds the plug in place. This one is from a 1985 oil pan. The plug will snap right in and out of it. All the dirt is from it being piled in the corner under a bunch of other parts. :D
