03 Cobra blower on 99

Ive been looking at the stock blowers from the 03 and 04 cobras on the net and they are pretty low cost (300 to 400 or so) My question is what other parts besides the blower itself would be needed to put the M112 blower on my 99 Cobra? This may sound like a stupid Idea to some of you but if you look at what a aftermarket blower cost even used they are usually around 2500, if getting all the necessary bolt on parts for the stock blower isint a BIG, MAJOR HARD TO FIND hassle, I would like to just get a stock one off the net and the other hardware to do the install and save a butt load of cash. Have any of you guys done this, or know of anyone that has? How about a store that sells the parts needed to do the install? Any help on this would be great. :D

You may save some money, but it isn't going to be alot. There are parts that you just aren't going to be able to find used like the lower intake, intercooler, etc. Here is a price list to do the swap on a Mach, but it should be about the same list for an older cobra

If you are looking for a budget blower, you might try find a used centri unit.

so there would be parts I would have to buy from Ford new, if thats the case, I guess it would not be worth it. I was hopeing there was a dealer somewhere that had something like a blower kit, to do the swap from a 03 to a 99-01. Oh well it was just a idea :nonono:

I have seen some auctions on ebay for the whole supercharger assembly with lower intake and everything.I dont know what they are going for but just keep looking and you will find an auction where everything is included.

What about the heat exchanger? Intercooler pump and hoses? Throttle body? Inlet pipe? How about the damn 03/04 HEADS! You're gonna need a new hood too, your stocker won't close with the blower on there.

Unless you get a wrecked 03/04 donor car for cheap it's going to cost MORE than buying a kit specifically made for your application.
