03 cobra bumper on gt/ lights?

I got the 03 cobra bumper on my 04 gt, fog lights are in and everything but the plugs dont match. Went to get new bulb with a plug that would match and guy there said it wont fit into the fog light. So what do i do? I know people have put this bumper on there car. Do i have to go cut and slice some 03 cobra wires to get the plug that i need? Or is there some kind of other bulb. Looks at my friends 01 cobra fog lights and his had straight buld, the buld in mine is that 90 degree angle. I trying to do it myself cause shop i took to taks long time. Any advice i would greatly appreciate cause would like to have them hooked up by tonight. Been driving without them for while,

the 03/04 cobra fog light bulbs are different then the gt's. you have to get the bulb for the cobra and buy pig tails for those bulbs and splice the pig tails into the gt fog light wiring

No dont got pics but i also have 03/04 cobra hood so just look at cobra lol. wrecked car, ordered cobra r, sent 03/04 cobra. Shop took forever so just had 03 cobra stuff put on. but anyways. I understand i going to have to slice the wires, so where should i get these "pig tails" i dont want to have to spend a fortune considering shouldnt have to pay for it damn shop should, and not like i can find a 03/04 cobra at local junk yard ya know? Any ideas where i can find them. Its already got the 03/04 lights and bulbs. Just need wires cause its still gt wires and plug.

That be great. I appreciate it man. I know its not big deal to some but i really think fog lights really make a car look more agressive coming up on ya. But im fat and ignorant so i wouldnt know

Some who have swapped bumpers have just forced the connectors together to make it work. I choose to go get a splice kit from Ford.

It includes the connector with attached wires and heat shrink material to cover the splice. The part number is 1U2Z14S411BA. You will need two. List is about $20, I paid just over $11.

great thanks a ton man. That model number is for the pig tails i need correct?....also, what if i cut the wires now, and connected it. Not going to i dont think it work, buddy mentioned it. Said to cut my pig tails and connect the wires to the bulb plug until i get the part from ford, would that work? I dont exactly excel working on fog lights so not sure whats going on here.

yes please, i was only going to do wire thing as tempory but i want it done right. Was just out and someones like, thought you were a v6 cause you have no fogs....grrr.

Just wait until you get the parts before splicing wires.

You can still install the lights without hooking them up if youre concerned about the looks.... or lack of them.

Any luck on the wires? And the lights are already sittin in there, just not connected, he couldnt see me comin up cause they were not turned on.

My dad forgot, I'll remind him tomorrow. If they are like my Roush fog lights, they just plug in, no splicing. But he'll have to see

the pigtails you can pick up at any auto place for like 3-4 bucks. and you need the pigtails cause the cobras are two holed and the gt is one, meaning it wont get jammed in there.

yup, got mine at discount auto parts. just tell them you need the fog light wiring for a 03-04 cobra
