Thanks for the compliments. It ended up costing around $850-900. To get it painted cost me $300. I'm not using that guy again .

Pretty expensive for paint! Thought about doing the rear Cobra bumper and filling in the letters, that would look sweet!

Beautiful car Hoppy - I actually looked at all the pages on cardomain. I can't wait to get an 03 Cobra front and rear bumper as well. 03 Cobra front bumper + intercooler =

How tall is the cowl on the Steeda hood (2in.) ? TBB IMO don't go bigger than the Steeda. My hood total cost was ~$900. Steeda hood, shipping, and paint. What ever you do - do not install it before you have it painted which ever one you get. That is soooo rice. Mine came in and I took it straight to a body shop. Actually it was delivered to the body shop which for some reason costs a little less in shipping. A cowl hood 4in. tall will block a bit of driver visibility (some passengers have complained about my Steeda blocking some visibility), how tall are you? You'd need that blower for sure to back up that aggressive of a look, plus you will look like your driving a race car everywhere you go not a sweet Stang.
I just think the Steeda hood is the perfect height cowl induction.

Just my 2 cents -
couple pics for ya.

Thanks for the compliment.

I really like that brushed aluminum instrument cluster you have.
Where/how does a fella' get himself one of those?

Is that 68 a California Special or a Shelby?

I have an 03 Cobra bumper being painted for my GT as we speak....I also kept the factory GT hood.

I just want to find a billet grille for the damn thing, and I haven't found anyone with a billet grille for an 03 cobra, they are all listed as GT and V6. Anyone know what the hell will fit?

So how big is the STeeda cowl hood or the Cervini's? Well I'm 6'2" so I don't think I'll have any visibility problems, do you have any more outside pics like straight from the side or anything 68&00?

Hop the silver instrument bezel is from a 99 35th anniversay edition. Was like $17 from the dealer. 10 minutes to install. The 68 is an original Sprint edition. It had all the GT options but was not a GT for insurance purposes. Kinda like the early 90's "LX" 5.0 I added 67 Shelby tail lights, and a Cali Spec. spoiler trunk, Eleanor front end (not hood), and 17in Edelbrock 454's.

sorry to get :OT:

here ya go TBB - borrowed rims from my 68 - one of my Cobras cracked through a spoke. Good hood pics though + spoiler delete =

Did you not have any fitment issues with the stock GT hood? I've got that same setup on my car right now and the stock GT hood bulges slightly. How did you correct that?

FordTaurusSHO94, did you do a rear Cobra bumper too? I'd like to see some pics if anybody has it, I'd like to do the front and rear bumper, and have the Cobra letters filled in.

I don't have the rear bumper. I got the front to fit by moving the top 2 holes back about a half to threee-quarters of an inch using self-tapping screws. Worked like a charm. Now for the sad part, I cracked that bumper last Friday night...
